Dopodoro 1.4: Dopodoro on the Mac

Dopodoro is now on the Mac.

It’s one window with a sidebar: Focus, Today, Plan, Tasks and Stats. The timer lives in the menu bar. Timer and navigation commands have keyboard shortcuts, and a task inspector opens beside your list.

When a focus or break ends, you get a notification and the window comes forward. It follows your Focus and Do Not Disturb settings.

Your tasks, history and settings sync over your own iCloud with iPhone and iPad. One purchase covers all three. Widgets, the Lock Screen and Apple Watch stay on iPhone.

If you’d like a running session to show up on your other devices, turn on “Mirror the session across devices” in Settings. It’s off until you do. Once it’s on, a focus you start on one device shows on the others, with a Take over button.

Requires macOS 26 or later.

Also on iPhone

  • Dark grey instead of pure black in dark mode.
  • A weekly goal ring in You, showing the days you’ve focused against your goal.
  • Quick add priorities. Type !1, !2 or !3 and the number stays out of your title.
